A Chocolate Bouquet
Baby, You Are So Handsome!

In the day and age we live in, you will often hear women gripe and complain about the man in their lives, or the men in this world in general.  "You know how men are...."  "...because he's a man!", as if it is a bad thing, and that men and women should constantly be at odds with each other, and regularly share insults with friends.
If your husband ran your housekeeping, cooking and other abilities down to all of his friends, can you imagine how that would make you feel?  Angry?  Resentful?  Would you return the favor by telling your friends what a slob he is, and how he doesn't have a clue how to fix a car or do the odd repair here and there around the house?
If this has been your habit in the past, now is the perfect time to try something better and more rewarding!
I personally enjoy a compliment, and if my husband notices my hairstyle or new dress and tells me how beautiful I am, I appreciate it!  When he brags to his friends about my cooking, or how I painted several rooms of the new house we moved into this year by myself(he had two major surgeries and was unable to help), it does me good, and makes me feel good about my accomplishments.
Practice this in your own home!  A man who is complimented and praised is more willing to go the extra mile than the man who feels unnoticed and unappreciated.  Remind him of how handsome you think he is, and how you love his company, and his sense of humor, etc.  Let him know he did a great job on the trim he just put up, or the dinner he voluntarily made for the family.  Compliments go a long way!  Your hubby is more likely to go the extra mile and do more when you compliment him.  It's a great habit to get into!
