The year of 2009 was very eventful for my family. Losing nearly
everything we own to a house fire, my husband and son surviving carbon monoxide poisoning a month later, and just 4 short
days after that, getting the call that my husband fell out of a tree while working, which then resulted in 2 major surgeries,
has resulted in us having a busy year, with many blessings in disguise!
Probably one of the biggest blessings out of all of this is the reminder that stuff is stuff, and LIFE is what matters.
I nearly widowed THREE times in a 6 week period, and I was only 39 years old(funny how in this situation I was ONLY 39, but
in February, I can't believe how OLD I became! lol).
Instead
of losing my husband and also my son, I have them both, and I only lost stuff.
That being said, I began working on this website over a year ago, and then it was put on a back burner while we took
care of life. With life having so many serious moments, I wanted an uplifting site that would bring a smile or refreshing
to those who would visit it. Each person needs to have time to rest, and hopefully this site will help you to do just
that-relax just a bit. I am not whining about my year, especially because I've dwelled on the positive instead
of the negative, and I think that if I can look at the good from my year, it would be great if I can help someone else to
see the positive as well.
Just recently, I began to put much
more time into my site, and I am excited to have it up and running, and adding new pages regularly!
I just wanted a fun, clean, and useful website aimed mostly at the lives of women-an online women's magazine type
of site. Gleaning the web for good articles that help and amuse, it is my hope that you enjoy yourself here, and that
you will come back often! My goal is to also have a very clean site that mothers will not have to worry about leaving
on their computer screen, if they suddenly smell dinner burning!
